Photoshop Workshop // 2

DOUBLE SIDE PRINT. Preview and Indesign are more appropriate for printing double sided prints.
Preview:

You shouldn't use photoshop as it was created for photo alterations. Photoshop was not designed for page layouts.

Resizing.
From the two images we choose, we had to resize them according to resolution.
Un-check Resample image , change the resolution to 300.

Then you click Resample image and change the width which will also change the Height. Then click ok.

Gamut Check // Getting the highest chromatic print.
NOW preview in CMYK

Turn on Gamut Warning
Go to your layers and select Hue & Saturation. Continue to De-Saturate until the gray has disappeared. This will mean that the what you see is what the printer can print.

Saving as a TIFF File (Tagged Image File Format)
A TIFF file is a file that isn't compressed every time you save it. When saving make sure that layers are Unchecked.

When sending files to the printers for example, they might not have photoshop on there computers so its good practice to send them a file in PDF format.
Using ADOBE ACROBAT XPRO to convert the images to a PDF file.
OPEN ACROBAT + SELECT the COMBINE FILES OPTION
>OPEN TIFF's
>SELECT LARGE FILE SIZE
>then COMINE FILES

Make sure hide extensions in UNCHECKED when saving!
